
Training a new dog can be quite the challenge.
Consistency is key in crate training to succeed. When your puppy gets out of his crate he will need to relieve himself. The dog will grow his bladder so he can hold it for longer and use the restroom.
The first thing to do when training a dog must learn is who the boss is. Your dog must understand that you’re in control, unless you let him know that you are the boss. When you walk your dog, be sure to keep him at heel since you are the leader.
When getting closer to a dog, you should go up to him slowly and allow him to sniff your hand. This gives the dog a chance to become accustomed to your personal scent and makes him you mean no harm.
Start your training your dog by doing something that will be easy for him to learn. This ensures that success and your training regimen. This way you get better results throughout the course of your training experience.
Limit the time of your training sessions. Spending too long on training will bore your dog and waste your efforts. Keep first training lessons down to about 10 minutes or less.
Training lessons should be very short. If you want to continue, allow the dog to have a break in order to get some exercise.

Take your dog outside every hour to help teach him this is where you want him to use the bathroom at least once each hour.Give him praise if he makes waste outside. Never scold your dog going potty inside. He doesn’t know better yet and he is going to learn if you just yell at him.

Teach your dog the difference between right and wrong for all instances. This will require firm rules for everyone to follow regarding your house. This will quickly undo all of your part!
Unacceptable Behavior
Be certain you are reacting to your dog exhibits unacceptable behavior. If you seem to be amused by unacceptable behavior, he is likely to repeat that behavior. This can hinder training process and it could lead to frustration. No matter how your pet is when he does something bad, you need to consistently correct them.
Consider crate when house training your dog. Once properly trained, he will be far less accident-prone indoors.
You can buy large beds for your dog, or even get a crib mattress to use as your dog’s bed. This is a great alternative because you are able to replace covers on it and wash them regularly. Another advantage is that these mattresses have a moisture-proof cover.
When teaching a dog to sit, hold a treat above him while he’s standing. Pass the treat above its head as you move your hand moves behind it. This causes your dog to look up while trying to follow your hand. Dogs naturally sit when doing this.
Use treats when training for the best results. Even if the treat is not something you would normally give them, like hotdogs or cheese.
Bad Behavior
Discourage any bad behavior when you see it. You should say ‘no’ to your dog in a very firm voice.Do not yell and/or hit your dog. Discourage bad behavior when it occurs or soon as it happens. Dogs tend to have short memory span. If you don’t immediately correct your dog, it will be unclear to the dog what you’re doing.
